This week, we held an important meeting at the Knesset with MK Ofir Katz, Chairman of the Coalition, with the goal of amplifying the voices of survivors and the wounded, and presenting the critical support our organization urgently needs.
During the meeting, we shared with MK Katz the wide range of work we’re leading, including psychological support, community-based assistance, rehabilitation and empowerment activities, and the establishment of a permanent, warm, and safe home for the victims of the October 7th terror attacks and their families.
We outlined the many challenges we face daily, especially the complex and painful reality the survivors continue to endure – a reality that demands a swift, compassionate, and well-funded response.
MK Katz listened attentively, expressed genuine interest and commitment, and pledged to assist in every way he can to help advance solutions and ensure that the state offers real support to those who were harmed and are fighting to rebuild their lives.
We thank him for his openness, willingness to listen, and readiness to act, and so we continue our daily struggle on behalf of the survivors.💙
