Hundreds of the survivors of the massacre at the Nova Festival on October 7th participated in the 3-day support and integration event in Kfar Nokdim, which was developed and organized by A Future For the Survivors and the Wounded of October 7th , which Daniel and Neriyah Sharabi established – the brothers that were able to escape the massacre while navigating a heroic battle against Hamas murders, attending to wounded, and saving dozens of lives.
The event, which was produced by the Gathering company, under the management of Assaf Yerimi and Chen Shlingboim, including accommodations on the ground, meals, songs around a fire, body treatments, movement healing workshops, sound healing therapy, Arts and Crafts, Yoga, Pilates, sensory healing, ice baths, and more – all of which was volunteer work at no charge.
Throughout the 3 day event, a professional team of therapists volunteered from the Safe Heart Foundation, which provides emotional support to survivors and wounded of the Nova Festival since October 7th.
On site there were stands where they could receive legal guidance, and yes, My Wave Foundation – the educational and therapeutic program operator for at risk youth, trauma victims, and people with all types of limitations from all over Israeli society, which offered advanced surfing lessons free of charge in collaboration with A Future For the Survivors and Wounded.
A team of 10 therapists and aids from the Children of Light Foundation in Rishpon organized and executed a silent rave on site, and a selection of international musical artists from the Trance scene took part in the epic event – a bumping music party in Kfar Nokdim.
The brothers Sharabi told “Maariv”: “We have a group of about 1,500 survivors, and we can’t wait for anyone or the state to come and save us. We established the organization to redirect donations to treatments and workshops for survivors.”
