During every holiday, we make sure to remind bereaved families and families of kidnapped victims that they are not alone. This past Hanukkah, A Future for the Survivors and Wounded launched a special campaign to distribute holiday gift baskets, filled with love and care, bringing warmth, joy, and light to those facing unimaginable pain.
The responses we received were truly moving. For these families, knowing that someone is thinking of them, seeing them even when the grief is overwhelming, means the world. The gift baskets we prepared with love weren’t just sufganiyot and candles – they were a clear message of support, care, and the promise that we will always be here for them.
This holiday, where light overcomes darkness, reminded all of us how important it is to have a caring community. We will continue to light the way for families, the wounded, and survivors – every holiday, every day, always.
