There are moments when the heart feels it before words can describe it. That is exactly how it felt on the evening of the fourth candle of Chanukkah, at “Our Home”!
After a long, emotional, and complex period, Josef Chaim Ohana finally celebrated with us! A moment of presence, of togetherness, of light returning to where it truly belongs.
Joining the celebration were dear guests who arrived especially from France, bringing with them a hug from afar, a deep sense of connection that crosses borders.
The tables were filled with good food and drinks, sweet sufganiyot were enjoyed one after another, but above all, the air was filled with laughter, movement, and genuine joy.
There was plenty of dancing, uplifting music, great fun, and great happiness, and one clear, simple truth – when we are together, the light grows stronger.
During the evening, a special raffle was also held with meaningful prizes for the survivors – small moments of excitement, surprise, and smiles that remain long after the lights go out.
And in closing, as is fitting and as feels right, a heartfelt and sincere thank you to all the members of the foundation, the dedicated staff, the volunteers and activists, and everyone who produced, built, carried, arranged, and made this event possible.
From darkness to light – not as a slogan, but as a way of life. May we meet only in times of joy!
