We are on October 7th, 24/7.
It’s hard to put into words how special a day July 24th was, so here’s the rundown:
We started the morning on a tour of the aviation industry with 10 survivors, we picked up different airplane parts and set out for the open spaces in Be’er Ya’akov.
Many thanks to Erez, the friendly promoter that set us up on the special tour and giving us the honor of choosing the raw materials for the art project we will complete in our future meetings at the healing space we established.
So, we unloaded the truck.
We laid down mats, canopies, connected sprinklers, sat on detached airplane seats, and built our first healing space.
Katya and Shahar conducted a special art meditation workshop for us, at the end of which we received bottles of calming oils that she calls “Inner Peace,” which is Food Grade, All Natural, and even comes in Passionfruit flavor!
Natalie conducted a yoga class for us, which was the perfect type of movement to warm up after an ice bath.
The ice bath workshop was conducted by Noam Raz, who came to us straight from a workshop he conducted for 50 soldiers that morning.
We began creating the first display with handprints, the ribbon for the hostages, drawings, and a lot of hope that they’ll come home.
Then our beloved Gabi Nachmani, an active member of the organization and survivor of the Nova massacre, had an incredible idea for memorialization
We can’t go back to our lives from before October 7th, we have to start new ones.
