This is the second time that A Future For the Survivors and the Wounded has organized a memorial trip to the field of the Nova Festival in Reim, a therapy project of bringing survivors back to Reim to recreate the memory from a place of control and allow exposure to the origin of the trauma in a safe space. From the moment registration opened, hundreds of survivors signed up.
Those who eventually came were survivors of the massacre that were able and willing to come full circle. Part of the many preparations for the event dealt with bringing the group together, including organizing a preliminary team building day the day before, this time at the Youth House in Tel Aviv, to support Nova survivors and their families. On the team building day, there were professional therapists who guided the survivors.
