עמית מוסט, בן 20 ממודיעין לוחם בסיירת נחל. עמית היה חובש פלוגתי (אחראי רפואה). עמית היה הילד הכי חייכן ומצחיק שיש, הוא אהב מאוד מוזיקה, לקרוא, לכתוב, אהב מאוד אנשים, תמיד היה איש של אנשים וחבר טוב לכל הסובבים שלו. הוא תמיד ידע לתת את העצות הכי טובות, להגיד את והמילים הנכונות.
עמית היה האח הכי טוב בעולם, הבן הכי מדהים בעולם, והבן זוג הכי מושלם בעולם. אני ועמית היינו ביחד ב3 וחצי שנים האחרונות. היתה לנו אהבה מיוחדת, היינו החברים הכי טובים בעולם והייתה לנו אהבה ענקית. אני מודה על כל רגע שלי ושלו ביחד ועל כל שניה שבילינו יחדיו.
עמית אהב מאוד להתנדב ולתת מעצמו כמה שיותר. תמיד חיפש איפה הוא יכול לתרום ואיפה הוא יכול להביא מעצמו כדי שלאנשים אחרים יהיה טוב.
ביום של ההתקפה (7.10) עמית היה בבסיס וסגר שבת. מוקדם בבוקר התחילו אצלם אזעקות ועמית רץ בלי ווסט, בלי קסדה רק עם מכנסיים, חולצה ונשק, לעבר המרחב המוגן עם חבריו. לאחר מספר דקות במרחב המוגן הם הבינו שהייתה חדירה של המחבלים לבסיס.
עמית קיבל הודעה שהחבר הכי טוב שלו נפצע. עמית יצא מהמרחב המוגן רץ אליו, בלי לחשוב פעמים על מנת לתת לו טיפול רפואי וכשראה שהוא בסדר חזר שוב למרחב המוגן.
לאחר כמה דקות קראו לו שוב כי חיילים נוספים שהיו בבסיס (אנשים שהוא אפילו לא הכיר) קראו לו לעזרה. הוא יצא מהמרחב המוגן ורץ אליהם במטרה להציל את חייהם. עמית טיפל בפצועים ושם נהרג.
עמית היה גיבור! כל מה שהוא רצה ועשה היה להציל חיים ולשמור על חברים שלו.
כמה ימים לאחר המקרה מצאנו פתק בחדרו שאומר : ״ אני רוצה להיות החובש הכי טוב שאני יכול, להיות אחד שרק רוצה לעזור לאנשים … אני מאמין שאני יכול להציל חיים ולמנוע מוות. נשלחנו להציל חיים וזו המטרה שלי בצה״ל.״

Amit Most, a 20-year-old fighter intelligence officer in Nahal Patrol. Amit was a company medic (in charge of medicine). Amit was the most smiling and funny boy there is. He loved music, reading, writing, and people. He was always a people person and a good friend to everyone around him. He always knew how to give the best advice and say the right words.
Amit was the best brother in the world, the most amazing son in the world, and the most perfect partner in the world. Amit and I have been together for the past 3 and a half years. We had a special love. We were the best friends in the world, and we had a huge love. I am thankful for every moment of mine and his together and every second we spent together.
Amit really liked to volunteer and give of himself as much as possible. He always looked for where he could contribute and where he could bring himself so that other people would be well.
On the day of the attack (10.7), Amit was at the base and closed Shabbat. Early in the morning, alarms started going off, and he and a colleague ran without a vest, without a helmet, only with pants, a shirt and a weapon, towards the protected space with his friends. After a few minutes in the protected area, they realized that the terrorists had infiltrated the base.
Amit received a message that his best friend was injured. He came out of the protected area and ran to him, without thinking twice, to give him medical treatment, and when he saw that he was fine, he returned to the protected area again. After a few minutes, he was called again because other soldiers who were at the base (people he didn't even know) called him for help. He came out of the protected space and ran to them in order to save their lives. Amit treated the wounded and was killed there. Amit was a hero! All he wanted and did was to save lives and protect his friends.
A few days after the incident, we found a note in his room that said: "I want to be the best medic I can, to be one who only wants to help people… I believe I can save life and prevent death. We were sent to save lives and that is my goal in the IDF.”
