אמיר חי את רוב חייו בחו"ל. הוא נולד בישראל, ובגיל 6 עבר לגאנה עם משפחתו וגדל שם. חלומו היה להיות שחקן כדורגל מקצועי. הוא עבר מספר מדינות במטרה להגשים את החלום הזה.
בגיל 18, הוא החליט שהוא רוצה לחזור לישראל ולהחזיר למדינה שלו, למרות שלא גודל כאן, הוא החליט לעשות עלייה לבד ולהתגייס לצבא.
אמיר גויס דרך "גרעין צבר" בנובמבר 2020. הוא החל את שירותו הצבאי ביחידת שלדג. לאחר אימון מאוד קשה שנמשך שנה ו-2 חודשים, הוא הוצא מהיחידה ומצא את מקומו ביחידת דובדבן, ושם הוא מצא את מקומו. הוא קיבל את הכינוי "דג" ומצא חברים לחיים. הוא אהב את הצבא ואת האדרנלין. הוא היה מגיע לבסיס בימי ראשון עם חיוך, נרגש לפגוש את חבריו. הוא היה החייל האמיץ ביותר. הוא היה עושה הכל כדי להגן על מדינתו, ונלחם באומץ עד הרגע האחרון. אם הייתה לו הזדמנות, הוא היה עושה את הכל שוב באותה הדרך בדיוק, נותן את חייו למען המדינה ולמען בטחונם של האזרחים.
אין הרבה אנשים שיש להם "את כל החבילה." אמיר היה עם "כל החבילה." היה לו הלב הכי טהור; הוא היה רגיש, אכפתי, חכם ואוהב. הוא אף פעם לא באמת התעצבן, והוא היה האופטימי ביותר. הוא היה גבר אמיתי עם אומץ רב, שיכול היה להיות מצחיק עם חבריו, היה מצחיק את חברה שלו, וגם יכל להיות מגושם ובו זמנית פרנואיד. היה לו חיוך שיכול היה להשיג לו כל מה שהוא רצה. הוא היה מדהים ביופיו ולא ידע את זה (הסוג הכי טוב של גבר). הוא אהב בכל ליבו, באמת ובעמק, בלי משחקים. כל הרגשות שלו היו גלויים לכולם, הכל היה על השולחן. הוא ידע לבטא את עצמו במילים או במעשים ותמיד הביע כמה אהבה יש לו. הוא היה רק טוב, האדם הכי טוב הידוע לעולם הזה, ונכון שאלהים לוקח את האנשים הכי טובים. תראה אותנו מלמעלה, מלאך שלנו, ונמשיך לספר לאנשים את הסיפור שלך עד שאין אדם אחד שלא יודע מי אתה.

Amir lived most of his life overseas. He was born in Israel, and at 6 years old he moved to Ghana together with his family and grew up there. His dream was to be a professional soccer player. He moved around a few countries pursuing that dream.
At 18 years old, he decided he wanted to come back to Israel and give back to his country, even though he was not raised here, he decided to do Aliya by himself and draft into the army.
Amir was drafted through “Garin Tzabar” in November of 2020. He started his army service in the Shaldag unit. After a very difficult training lasting a year and 2 months, he was eliminated from the unit and found himself in the Duvdevan unit, and that is where he found his place. He got the nickname “Fish” and found friends for life. He loved the army and the adrenaline. He would go to the base on Sundays with a smile, excited to see his friends. He was the bravest soldier. He would do anything to protect his country, and he fought bravely until the very last moment. If he had the chance, he would most likely do it all again in the exact same way, give his life for the country and for the safety of the citizens.
There aren’t a lot of people who have “the whole package.” Amir had the whole package. He had the purest heart; he was sensitive, caring, smart and loving. He never actually got mad, and he was the most optimistic. He was a real man with huge courage, who could be silly with his friends, annoy his girlfriend, be clumsy and at the same time paranoid. He had a smile that could get him whatever he wanted. He was incredibly handsome and didn’t know it (the best kind of man). He loved with all his heart, truly and deeply, without games. All of his emotions were out for everyone to see, everything was on the table. He knew how to express himself with words or with actions and always expressed how much love he had. He was nothing but good, the best person known to this world, and it’s true that God takes the best people.
