Alina Plahti and her boyfriend Yonatan Eliyahu were at the party at “Nova” on October 7th and they both were killed in the Hamas attack during that morning. Alina was 23 from Beit Shean, and Yonatan was 21 from Rishon le-Zion.
They met at a festival party like their last one. Yoni was about to have his first opportunity to join the team of photographers at this party. He just bought a new camera, and he loved nature. His mom says that he was the happiest kid ever! Joyful energy, pure heart. He said that Alina will be his wife, he found the love of his life. Yoni’s camera hasn’t been found yet.
Alina and I met at a self-development and numerology course, “Gal shel otzma” by Gal Levi, which changed Alina's life! She overcame depression and anxiety, and she dreamed of becoming a mentor. Together with Yoni, they dreamed of having their own clinic so they could help people heal themselves from darkness and sorrow. During the course, I gave Alina the assignment to tell her story in front of the camera. She asked me, “what do I have to give?” And I said, “yourself! Just start talking.” She sent us a 20-minute video that became her wish. We decided to make her wish come true and help her story to help and encourage as many people as possible ❤️
