עדי צור, 2002-2023, היה בננו הקטן והאהוב. שמו עדי משמעותו תכשיט ואכן הוא היה תכשיט נדיר. עדי היה בעל נשמה גדולה. תמיד אדיב וחם, היה לו את היכולת לזכות בלבבות של אנשים. הוא תמיד היה מוקף חברים שאהבו אותו מאוד. ביתנו תמיד היה מקום שבו כל החברים שלו התאספו. לעדי הייתה רגישות רבה לאנשים כמו גם לבעלי חיים. במשך שנים הוא התנדב בעמותה שמספקת מקלט ודואגת לכלבים נטושים. זה הוביל אותו לאמץ את לני, כלבה נקבה שסבלה פגיעות קשות. לעדי ולני היה קשר מאוד מיוחד ובמהרה עדי הפך לעולם של לני. עדי היה ספורטאי. הוא הצטרף לקבוצת כדורעף בשכונה שלו. הוא גם אהב מאוד כדורגל.
כשהגיע הזמן שלו להתגייס לצה"ל, לעדי הייתה רצון להצטרף לבריגדת גולני ולהיות לוחם. אף על פי שהוא יכול היה לעזוב את מסלול הלחימה שלו בשל פציעה שהתרחשה במהלך שירותו בצבא, הוא בחר להמשיך בתוכנית המקורית שלו והמשיך לשרת כלוחם. עדי עבר הכשרה להיות צלף. הוא שירת ב-51 באטלון של בריגדת גולני.
לעדי היו הרבה תוכניות. הוא רצה לצאת לטיול בדרום אמריקה, ללמוד ולהתחיל את חייו יחד עם ענבל, החברה שלו בעשור האחרון.
ביום 7.10.23, בשעה 6:30 בבוקר בערך, עדי וחבריו לחיילות שמעו על חדירת מחבלי חמאס לקיבוץ כיסופים ורצו להגיע לשם. הג'יפ שבו נסעו הותקף וחלק מהחיילים שבו נפגעו. עדי וחייל נוסף קפצו מהג'יפ ונלחמו במחבלים במשך דקות ארוכות. המעשה ההרואי שלהם אפשר לג'יפ ולחברים הפגועים להימלט לבסיס ולהתריע בזמן. האזהרה נתנה לבטליון שלו את ההזדמנות להכות אחורה ולהגן על ההתיישבות בכיסופים. כתוצאה מכך, טבח נורא, דומה לאלה שהתרחשו בהתיישבויות אחרות בישראל, נמנע בהצלחה.
המאבק ההרואי שלו לא הפתיע אותנו. הוא תמיד היה אדם של מעשה ולא של מילים.

Adi Tzur, 2002-2023, was our beloved youngest son. His name Adi means jewel and indeed he was a rare jewel. Adi was endowed with a big soul. Always kind and warm, he had a way of winning people’s hearts. He was always surrounded by friends who loved him deeply. Our home was always a place where all his friends used to gather. Adi had great sensitivity to people as well as to animals. For years he used to volunteer at an association that gave shelter and took care of abandoned dogs. This had led him to adopt Leni, a female dog who was severely abused and injured. Adi and Leni had a very special bond and very soon Adi had become Leni’s whole world. Adi was an athlete. He joined the volleyball team in his neighbourhood. He also absolutely adored soccer. When it was time for him to enlist to the Israeli army, adi had a wish to join the Golani Brigade and to become a warrior. Although he could have left his combat course due to an injury that happened during his service in the army, he chose to stick to his original plan and continued serving as a fighter. Adi was trained to be a sniper. He served in the 51st Battalion of Golani Brigade. Adi had many plans. He wanted to go on a trip to South America, to study and to start his life together with Inbal, his girlfriend for the last six years. On 7.10.23 at about 6:30 a.m Adi and his fellow soldiers heard about the infiltration of the Hamas terrorists to Kibbutz Kisufim and hurried to get there. The jeep they were in was attacked and some of the soldiers in it were wounded. Adi and another soldier jumped out of the jeep and fought the terrorists for long minutes. Their heroic action had made it possible for the jeep and the wounded comrades to retreat to the base and to give warning in time. The warning gave his battalion the chance to fight back and defend the settlement of Kissufim. Consequently, a horrendous massacre, similar to those that happened in other settlements in Israel, was successfully avoided. His heroic fighting did not surprise us. He was always a person of action rather than words. Our loss is beyond imagination. Our hearts are broken. We miss him very much. Adi will live in our hearts forever. May his memory be blessed.
