ארתור יצא לעבוד במסיבה כשוטר עוד בלילה שלפני, אנחנו גרים באשקלון וקמנו ב7.10 לטילים. אבא התקשר ב6:20 ואמר לאמא שלי שיש אזעקות ושניכנס לממד, אמא שלי אמרה לו לבוא הביתה אבל הוא אמר שהוא יחזור רק אחרי שיפנה את כל הילדים מהמסיבה, הוא ראה בהם ילדים שלו שצריך לשמור עליהם, היינו בממד והבנו לאט לאט מה קורה ושיש מחבלים במסיבת טבע, התקשרנו לאבא שלי וב7:30 הוא ענה לי ואמר שהוא עוזר לאנשים להתפנות מהמקום ויתקשר כשיוכל, מאז לא תפסנו אותו בטלפון הוא רק שלח הודעה למפקדת שלו ב8:50 שהוא נפגע בברך ושממש שדה קרב שם
זה פעם האחרונה שמישהו יצר קשר איתו.

נסענו לירושלים באותו ערב ושבוע שלם היינו בחוסר ידיעה מה קורה איתו הוא היה מוגדר כנעדר
ואז בחמישי בערב הגיעו הקצינים והודיעו לנו את הבשורה הנוראה מכל
אבא נהרג בקרב ברעים
הלב שלנו שבור אבל הידיעה שהוא הציל כל כך הרבה ילדים גורמת לנו לקצת נחת
הוא היה אבא מדהים ובן זוג הכי טוב שיש נזכור אותו לנצח

הוא השאיר אחריו אישה 4 ילדים הורים ואחות

ארתור היה בן 46 ונולד ברומניה
עלה לארץ בגיל שנתיים והשתלב בבית ספר היה ילד מיוחד עם הפרעות קשב וריכוז שמייחדות אותו מאוד

Arthur was 46 years old and was born in Romania. He immigrated to Israel at the age of two and integrated into a school. He was a special child with ADHD that makes him very special. He left behind a wife, 4 children, parents and a sister.

Arthur was a hero who fought valiantly at the Nova Festival. He was humble, cynical, always calm and optimistic. He had such a beautiful smile that when he smiled, straight away we smiled too. We will always remember you.

Arthur went to work at the party as a policeman the night before. We live in Ashkelon and got up at 7:10 for the missiles. Father called at 6:20 and told my mother that there were alarms and that we should enter the safe room. My mother told him to come home, but he said that he would only come back after he had evacuated all the children from the party. He considered them his children who needed to be taken care of. We were in the safe room and slowly realized what was happening and that there were terrorists at a nature party. We called my father, and at 7:30, he answered me and said he was helping people evacuate the place and would call when he could. Since then, we hadn’t caught him on the phone. He only sent a message to his headquarters at 8:50 that he was hit in the knee and that there was actually a battlefield there. That's the last time anyone contacted him.

We went to Jerusalem that evening, and for a whole week, we were in the dark as to what was going on with him, he was listed as missing. Then on Thursday evening, the officers came and told us the worst news of all. Father was killed in a battle of bad guys. Our hearts are broken but knowing that he saved so many children gives us some comfort.
He was an amazing father and the best partner, we will remember him forever.
